Net Replacement Film Supplier

Net Replacement Film Introduction

Net Replacement Film is normally used by its abbreviation NRF.

It is a type of film made from the high-performance resin used as the auxiliary product for balers instead of net wrap.

Specifically, used as an inner barrier of a hay bale, to improve the ensiling performance.

NRF-Introduction

The Guideline of Net Replacement Film

What is Net Replacement Film?

The core ingredients of NRF are C8 metallocene and auxiliary materials.

It is used to hold hay bales tightly with a superior oxygen barrier performance until it is time to feed cattle and sheep.

Specification of Net Replacement Film

Standard thickness: 0.51mil, 0.63mil (13μm, 16μm).

Standard width: 50 inch, 54 inch. Standard length: 6560 ft, 7870 ft.

Tensile strength: MD>120MPa, TD>26Mpa.

Elongation at break: MD>130%, TD>1000%

Why Use Net Replacement Film?

  • The NRF with superior holding strength, anti-puncture, and anti-tear performance
  • Guaranteed length and width, with end-of-roll markings and carry handles
  • Edge-to-Edge cover, with great adaptability and suitable for different balers
  • Consistent stable performance, easy to use, and extra protection for hay bale
  • Less hay loss, faster wrapping, easy to store, pile, transshipment, and recycle

Attention when using the Net Replacement Film

1. Do NOT over-stretch when use, recommended stretch ratio is 10%-20%

2. Wrap the next layer should cover 50% of the previous layer, wrap at least 3 layers

3. The surface should be immediately sealed with tape when there is a breakage

4. The wrapped package should not be rolled on the ground for transportation

5. Storage should be kept away from livestock, frequently checked for gnawing by rodents such as mice, and immediately sealed with tape if there is any damage

6. Unused NRF should be stored in a cool environment and protected from moisture and mechanical damage

FAQ

Take an example of the most popular 5 feet diameter silage bale, and 4 wraps per bale, so a 6560 ft roll can wrap about 230 bales.

Yes, the net replacement film is better than net wrap.

Due to strong holding force, the NRF hay bale with LESS silage loss, BETTER shape, Consistent and stable performance, etc.

C8 metallocene, auxiliary materials, etc.

No, it is NON-biodegradable, but it can recycled.

For alfalfa: 3 turns. For wet corn: 3.5 to 4 turns.
